Hey Starshine,

Welcome to my sacred space dedicated to sharing my love for music and healing and how they blend together.

My name is Alana, like banana. Music is my first language. I began exploring singing and piano around 4 years old. I fooled all of my teachers, including my grandmother, mother and aunt (yes, a very musical family), and quickly was able to grasp, create and feel music, without fully comprehending the rigidity around it with structured music we all learn. After picking up the cello and other stringed instruments, I learned music theory and became more well rounded, although a competitive musician earning full scholarships in both instruments.. 

During my high school studies, I performed many cool places, including Carnegie Hall and Sea World.  But eventually, as I got older and became more focused on career and becoming an adult, I walked away from music. I had lost my muse.

Unfortunately, I would also lose my ability to play. after experiencing a Traumatic Brain Injury. On Pentecost Sunday 2024, I was outside, listening to the rosary and drinking my coffee. It was in this quiet moment, I clearly heard "You are healed." Turns out, I have found that I had been healed in many ways, including receiving the gift of music again.

It is with this deep gratitude of receiving my gift back, that I live to show you that healing is available to you too. Freedom, release, joy, love is all available to you in any given moment through the power of divine language we all share, which is music.
